LAHORE: Institute of Advanced Dental Sciences and Research (IADSR) recently held the final assessment of participants registered in the 13th Professional Diploma in Advanced General Dentistry (PDAGD).
Dr Sumair Farooq evaluated the assessment. Every participant presented the individual case on the procedures they performed by utilizing the knowledge and skills taught to them during the course.
Different cases covering procedures such as extraction, root canals, removal of the periodontal flap, crown and veneer preparations etc., were presented. Dr Sumair assessed the participants and highlighted the possible improvements they could have made to improve the result.
Case presentation is a compulsory element for the diploma and the day after the evaluation a diploma awarding ceremony was organized.
Associate Professor Arghaman Mirza and Professor Ayyaz Ali Khan awarded the diploma to the successful participants. Every participant gave positive feedback about the course, highlighted the techniques they learned during it and appreciated the administration's efforts.
