Karachi: A Condolence Meeting at Arag Auditorium of Dow Medical College, DUHS to condole the death of Prof. S. M. Rab, Former Professor of Medicine & Former President of College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) who departed for his heavenly abode recently.
Prof. S. M. Rab was remembered for his innumerable services rendered in teaching and training, seniors faculty members of Dow University including the Vice Chancellor, Prof. M. Umar Farooq and Prof. Junaid Ashraf, Principal, Dow Medical College expressed heartfelt grief and deepest sympathies to the family members of Prof. S. M. Rab.
Prof. S. M. Rab was one of the founder fellows of CPSP and was also the initiator of postgraduate studies. He was a great mentor and students from all over the world came to his unit for postgraduate teaching and trainings. He was a role model and a source of guidance. Beside excellent teacher, he was also a good physician. The legacy of Prof. SM Rab will always be alive, and his services for medical profession will always be remembered. They all expressed sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant enough courage to the family to bear this irreparable loss and grant the soul a place in Heaven.
