KARACHI: Business deals worth Rs1.2 billion were signed during the three-day 7th DTMA Dental Expo 2024 that concluded here recently, attended by thousands of visitors from across Pakistan, featuring over 100 exhibitors from countries including Turkey and the UAE, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in oral healthcare technology.
The Dental Trade Manufacturers Association (DTMA) President Mr. Ashraf Ghauri underscored the organisation’s critical role in promoting Pakistan's dental industry. “DTMA remains a pivotal platform for shaping the future of oral healthcare in the country,” he says, highlighting the expo’s success in encouraging innovation and collaboration.
Mr. Ghauri expressed his appreciation for the contributions and support of the entire DTMA Executive Body and members, especially Chairman of DTMA, Saleem Hayee, and Vice President of DTMA Punjab, Mazhar Hussain Mirza, for their efforts in organizing a successful and well-planned dental exhibition.
The country’s premier dental trade exhibition displayed over 5,000 state-of-the-art products from national and international companies, ranging from oral healthcare supplies to advanced dental technologies, reflecting the latest industry trends.
DTMA Patron-in-Chief Mr. Liaquat Ali Humayun lauded the association’s efforts in transforming the dental trade sector. “The growth of digital technology in dentistry, evident from the participation of numerous institutions and companies, demonstrates our progress in creating a global platform for showcasing advancements in dental care,” he remarked.
He further emphasised that the success of DTMA events underscores the collective effort of participants, positioning Pakistan as a key player in the global dental arena.
DTMA Secretary General Mr. Nasir Feroz highlighted the practical benefits of the expo for dental professionals. “Exhibitors provided high-quality products and advanced technologies at discounted rates, making the latest innovations more accessible to practitioners. This contributes significantly to the growth and accessibility of dental care across the country,” he said.
