DUBAI: The Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently inaugurated the 26th UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition - AEEDC Dubai 2022. The three-day ongoing conference at the Dubai World Trade Centre brings together some of the most renowned international names in dentistry and oral health. The conference which was scheduled from February 1-3, 2022 holds the stands of numerous international companies and medical health authorities. H.H. was informed of their leading projects that support the dental and oral healthcare sector, including upgrading diagnostic and treatment services.
Over three days, the global event is expected to draw 66,000 participants from 155 countries. The participating companies exhibit nearly 4,800 innovative products in the field of medical solutions related to oral and dental health.
The exhibition also includes 22 international pavilions representing the most prominent international companies specialised in dentistry. The conference schedule this year features various specialised topics. They have been designed to help dentists and specialists learn about the most prominent scientific research related to oral care, dental cosmetics, advanced digital technology in dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, pediatric dental treatment, dental radiology, orthodontics, modern methods used in dental restoration, and the use of robotics in dentistry.
The scientific workshops on the first day of AEEDC Dubai 2022 covered various topics, such as the use of laser technology and various techniques used in dentistry using the most up-to-date medical technology models. Dental students were also offered educational opportunities.
