KARACHI: Over 9,000 candidates appeared in the entry test for dispenser and paramedical course held by the Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) under the Sindh Medical Faculty (SMF).
The test held in two shifts was conducted peacefully and smoothly because of arrangements made by the JSMU, including the venue, staff and the security.
Dr. Anita Shah, JSMU Controller Examination, visited the examination halls and reviewed the arrangements, expressing satisfaction with the transparent conduct of the test.
JSMU Vice Chancellor Prof Amjad Siraj Memon said the institute is committed to provide quality education to the students of Sindh, and that the entry test was a part of the university’s efforts to ensure that only the best and brightest students are admitted to this program.
“I would also like to appreciate the staff of JSMU for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the smooth conduct of the test”, he added.
The Sindh Medical Faculty (SMF) is under the administrative control of the provincial health department, but it is still considered to be an independent academic institution responsible for the training of medical students and for the research and development of medical education in the province.
The health department provides the SMF with funding and support for its operations.
