Prof. Dr. Hoshang R. Sukhia - BDS, BSc, MS(Orth), FFD(Orth), RCS, M.OrthRCS(Edin) has been designated as Principal (Dental Section) at Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences for Girls.
He is currently the professor of Orthodontics and in-charge of Oral Anatomy department. Dr. H.R. Sukhia was previously the vice-principal & head of dental section of the college for 3 years. He has over 14 years of academic and clinical teaching experience with numerous international and national publications to his credit.
Dr. H.R. Sukhia did his bachelors BDS & BSc from the prestigious de’Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore. He also heads the Sir Syed Continuing Dental Education (CDE) society which conducts popular certificate programs (C.Orth) in fixed orthodontics, twice a year. The course has attracted dentists from all over Pakistan, UAE and KSA. He is also the author of the most widely selling national textbook in orthodontics titled - 'Student Orthodontics’. The 2nd edition of this book has sold over 20,000 copies to date.
