KARACHI: The Continuing Dental Education (CDE) Department of Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences (SSCMS) recently held a workshop titled “Importance of Prescriptions in Dentistry.”
Prof. Dr HR Sukhia, Principal, Dental College, SSCMS, led the workshop with Dr Zain Rauf, Assistant Professor, Community Dentistry, SSCMS and Dr Suraiya Hirani, Senior Lecturer, Oral Biology, SSCMS.
Dr Suraiya explained the purpose of dental prescriptions. Furthermore, Dr Syed Ali Raza emphasized the role of prescribing proper medications for patients with systemic complications. He explained that high blood pressure, heart problems, pregnancy and other common patient problems required specific medications.
Prof. HR Sukhia greatly appreciated the efforts of the dental faculty in promoting CDE programs in the college.
