Punjab health minister pledges quality work in hospitals’ revamp 

LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has assured that the ongoing revamping of hospitals across the province will adhere to the highest standards of quality and transparency.

At a recent meeting at the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, Mr Rafique highlighted the improvements made at Jinnah Hospital Lahore’s several key units, including the Pediatric Emergency, Surgical Unit Two, ICU First Floor, Medical Unit Two, Eye Ward, CCU Second Floor, and Gynecology Ward.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to complete the hospital revamp projects promptly to enhance patient care and convenience.

To accelerate the revamping work at the Jinnah Hospital Lahore, the minister directed contractors to work in two shifts.

He also ordered relevant officials to ensure rigorous and continuous oversight of the ongoing projects at all government hospitals to guarantee both timely and high-quality completion.
