ISLAMABAD: As the vaccination drive continued across the country, the Ministry of National Health Services recently informed that 50 per cent of the school-going children got jabbed with the COVID-19 vaccine.
Ministry of National Health Services tweeted from the official account, "Half of Pakistan's school-going children have been vaccinated against COVID-19".
The vaccination campaign for children aged 12 and up began in September of last year.
According to NCOC data, more than 83 million people have been fully vaccinated against the virus, at least 106 million have received their first dose, and more than two million have received a booster dose of vaccine since the vaccination campaign began across Pakistan.
