KARACHI: The Karachi Medical and Dental College (KM&DC), KMU recently organized an intra-class poster competition on the theme of ‘Impact of Good Oral Health on General Wellbeing’ for second-year dental students, hosted by the Department of Community Dentistry.
During the event, led by Associate Prof. Dr. Sana Adeeba Islam, Head of the Department of Community Dentistry, with facilitation by Senior Lecturer Dr. Aleem, the students presented evidence-based information, creativity, and in-depth knowledge about oral health.
The judges pane included KMDC Principal Prof. Dr. Nargis Anjum, academic incharge Prof. Dr. Zahid Ali, was present on behalf of Vice Principal & HOD Dentistry Professor Dr. Sheeraz Hussain, and Associate Prof. Dr. Sana Adeeba Islam.
The posters were evaluated based on practical content, visual appeal, thoughtful insights, and overall student contributions. The judging panel commended all participants for their efforts in promoting oral health awareness.
The contest aimed to inspire and encourage student engagement in oral health activities, improving their confidence in their ability to contribute knowledge through effective presentations and public speaking skills.
