PMC, PDC students shine in national research moot  

PESHAWAR: Students from Peshawar Medical College (PMC) and Peshawar Dental College (PDC) made their mark on the national stage in September 2024, outperforming their rivals in research conferences and showcasing their academic excellence.

At the inaugural National Research Conference hosted by Bacha Khan Medical College, PMC's 4th-year MBBS students, Hamza Farooq and Abdal Ahmad, secured first place in the verbal research competition.

In another event, Muhammad Waleed Farooq led his team, including Hamza Farooq and Syed Ibadullah Shah, to a first-place win in the quiz competition.

Meanwhile, at the Jinnah Research Conference in Peshawar, Malak Aman Khan and his team, all 4th-year MBBS students from PMC, also clinched first place in the verbal research category.

Adding to the list, PDC students Aliya Saeed and Malaika Syed Bukhari, both 4th-year BDS students, secured first place in the verbal research competition at the National UMR Competition held at Khyber Girls Medical College. Hamza Farooq and his PMC team stood third in the same category.

The students performance at national research events reflect the commitment to academic and research excellence at PMC and PDC.
