HYDERABAD - Pakistan Medical and Dental College (PMDC) approved continuing dental education’s (CDE) accredited hours lecture, live demonstration and hands-on workshop on Componeer (Direct composite veneering system, Coltene, Germany) were recently organized at Isra Dental College, Hyderabad.
Dr. Salman Zafar, Associate Professor and Consultant Medident Dental Specialist Clinic, DHA, Karachi, was the guest speaker, while Dr. Zahid Iqbal, HOD and Assistant Professor, was the programme facilitator.
Dean Isra Dental College, Prof. Abdul Qadir Khero, who was chief guest on the occasion, highlighted the importance of continuing dental education.
Dr. Salman Zafar delivered his lecture on Cosmetic Dentistry, Smile Analysis and treatment planning for esthetic restorations in esthetic zone. He also highlighted the importance of Componeer, components of Componeer system and its application techniques. Live demonstration of Componeer placement in patient was arranged, besides hands-on opportunity was provided to all the participants.
Later, Madam Amtul Qazi presented shields to Dr. Salman Zafar and Dr. Zahid Iqbal and certificates among the participants.
