No Confidence motion against chairman SSC by legislators

Islamabad: The members of the Senate Standing Committee on National Health Services Regulations and Coordination have moved the No Confidence motion against the Chairman SSC on account of two bills that were to be discussed in the committee meeting.

The members of the committee state that they have lost confidence in the chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, as he has formulated a decision without involving the members of the committee.

According to reports, the committee was to discuss two bills during their meeting. The first was the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Bill, and the other, was the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Bill 2022. The members of the committee had unanimously decided to pass both bills. However, the chairman was against the committee’s decision, and had called off the meeting without a voting.

The senators therefore, have requested to move the No Confidence motion against the chairman Senate Standing Committee on National Health Services Regulations and Coordination.
