KARACHI- A team of officials of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) will visit Dow Medical College and Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi today, August 05,2019, to check academic and clinical performance of these institutions.
The aim of the visit would be to evaluate whether the PMDC guidelines and standards are being implemented in these institutions. The PMDC officials are likely to review the medical education, infection control practices, radiology department, disposal of medical waste, functioning of wards and other facilities.
The officials will identify irregularities if any during the visit and recommend their suggestions to improve health delivery standards and medical education.
The DMC and CHK management has finalized arrangements to welcome PMDC officials.
