LAHORE- Third annual convocation of CMH Lahore Medical College and 2nd convocation of CMH Institute of Dentistry were held here, simultaneously, at the college auditorium.
MBBS and BDS degrees were awarded among the successful graduates on the occasion.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Commander IV Corps Lt-Gen Naweed Zaman and Vice Chancellor of University of Health Sciences, Maj-Gen (retd) Prof Dr Muhammad Aslam graced the occasion by their presence.
Among the dental graduates, Ms Maham Munir, secured 549 out of 700 marks in the First Professional examination; Ms Eesha Najam bagged two gold medals for achieving highest marks in 2nd and 3rd year, while Ms Hira Jamil obtained 594/800 in the final examination. Ms Eesha Najam got the best graduate award in the dentistry section. She secured seven gold medals in Biochemistry, Dental Materials, General Pathology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Behavioural Sciences, Oral Medicine and General Surgery.
Felicitating the graduates, Principal of CMH Lahore Medical College, Lt-Gen (retd) Prof Dr Syed Afzaal Ahmad and Dean Institute of Dentistry Prof Dr M. Qasim Saeed wished them success in their practical life.
Later, a grand dinner was hosted in honour of all distinguished guests, graduates and their parents.-PR
