KARACHI: Friends and colleagues paid rich tributes to Dr Seemin Jamali at the condolence reference organised by the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) administration for
its late executive director at its Najamuddin Auditorium.
Speaking on the occasion, JPMC Head Prof Dr Shahid Rasool lauded Dr Seemin Jamali’s services for the patients even in the worst law and order situation in Karachi, terming her a frontline soldier.
He said Dr Seemin was always available for the students, department heads, faculty giving her the credit for making Jinnah Hospital what it is today.
Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) Vice Chancellor Prof Amjad Siraj Memon, Dr Masroor Ahmed, Dr Muhammad Salman, Dr Nosheen Razi and other administrative, medical and paramedical staff also attended the ceremony.
Addressing the participants, Prof Memon said Ms Jamali would also solve the problems of Jinnah Hospital and the JSMU as well.
Mushtaq Chhapra of Patient Aid Foundation remembered Dr Jamali’s tenure as head of JPMC’s Emergency & Accident Department and executive director as the most successful and prosperous period of the institution.
