Mehran Institute of Continuing Dental Education (MICDE) in collaboration with URSmile England conducted a two-day intensive training session on Dental Implantology at Karachi on 11th and 12th March 2017.
This training consisted of lectures followed by hands-on Workshops by Dr. Kashif Hafeez who came all the way from England exclusively to conduct this course.
These sessions were part of a comprehensive “Dental Implants Course Series” which consists of 6 sessions altogether, 2 of which were conducted in December’2016. The topics covered were Socket Preservation, Molar Implant Placements, Implants in Aesthetic Zone, Replacing Multiple Teeth with Implants, Sinus Lift Surgery and Bone Grafting Techniques.
There was a hands-on workshop on Socket Preservation and Implant Placement on day one. On day two, the hands-on workshop was conducted on Sinus Lift Surgery Technique and Bone Grafting. Dr. Kashif Hafeez explained everything in a very understandable and elaborative manner. In the middle of the session there was a lunch break. At the end, there was a Questions and Answers Session followed by photographs.
It is worth mentioning that the venue was a serene lake-side with greenery which pleased the participants very much.
