KARACHI - An orthodontic case review session was recently arranged by the Department of Orthodontics at Bahria University Medical and Dental College on. The digital presentations were prepared by the students of final year under the supervision of Dr. Raafia Mujahid, senior lecturer in the Department of Orthodontics. Each presentation summed up the entire work done by the students in their orthodontic clinical rotation, which lasts 9 weeks.
Each student presented their own clinical case highlighting their orthodontic problem list and treatment planning options. At the end of each case presentation there was an interactive question & answer session leading to a healthy collaborative discussion. The session was addressed to the Head of the Orthodontic Department Dr. Tabassum Ahsan Qadeer.
The best presenter awards were given to Tooba Taj and runners up were Rida Zulfiqar, Ebrahim Riaz and Kulsoom Zahir. The presentation session was concluded by the honorable Vice Principal of BUMDC Dental Section Dr. Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi with a certificate of appreciation being presented to the first and runner up candidates. Souvenirs were also given for encouragement of the students.
