KARACHI- The administration of Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) has decided to create 5 more counters for their Out-Patient Department.
Medical Superintendent CHK, Dr Sabir Memon, informed that due to noticeable increase in the number of patients, the hospital administration has decided to establish five more counters to facilitate the visiting patients in a better manner. Out of these new OPD counters, 3 would be for males and 2 for female patients.
He added that the burden of OPD patients is increasing day by day at Civil Hospital Karachi and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) due to below average services at certain hospitals in the city.
Dr Sabir further assured that the new counters would be made functional within a few days, with computerized slip system, in order to run the health facility in a timely and proper manner.
