KARACHI: The Department of Periodontology, Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences (SSCMS) for Girls, recently arranged a poster competition under the supervision of Dr Maheen Ali, Dr Sana Zahra and Dr Laaraib Saeed.
Dr Yousuf Moosa, Head of Department of Periodontology, SSCMS, was the event's host. On the other hand, Dr HR Sukhia, Principal, Dental College, SSCMS, Dr Ajeet Kumar Rathi and Dr Junaid Shakeel judged the posters. Ijaz Ahmad and Syed Amjad Ali acted as the coordinators.
The students were divided into five groups and were given topics on Oral Submucous Fibrosis, TMJ Dysfunction, Facial Palsy, COVID-19 and non-carious tooth losses. Dr Ajeet and Dr Junaid Shakeel highlighted the above topics in clinical practice after the judgement.
The event was wrapped up by certificate distribution to the participants.
