Karachi: The 43rd Asia Pacific Dental Congress (APDC 2021) will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 18-22 May 2021. This will be a hybrid event in view of Covid challenges faced by the World.
The event will feature advancements in the field of Dentistry with latest technologies and trends in dental sciences.
The 43rd Asia Pacific Dental Congress (APDC 2021) brings together dentists and allied dental professionals from Asia Pacific and the MENA Regions.
Pakistan Dental Association has nominated its President and the general secretary to contest the elections this year. Prof Nasir Khan will be making his debut on the APDF stage and is nominated for the post of Vice President which is currently held by Dr Asif Arain, who has decided to defend his seat even though he was unsuccessful in securing the PDA nomination.
The PDA President Dr Shah, will also be defending his chairmanship of the Oral Diseases Commission, a post he has held multiple times. Interestingly, there is no other contestant or PDA nominee for any other posts from Pakistan.
