KARACHI: Bahria University Medical & Dental College (BUMDC) recently celebrated an Independence Day event. BUMDC commemorated the event with strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The Day of Independence was celebrated with zeal and zest. Vice Admiral (R) Khalid Amin (HI) (M), Director General, BUMDC, was the Chief Guest of the event. He hoisted honourable Pakistan's flag followed by the National Anthem of Pakistan.
After that, ceremonial cake cutting was performed by the chief guest, Prof. Dr Ambreen Usmani, Principal, Medical College, BUMDC, Prof Dr Wahab Kadri, Principal Dental College, BUMDC, Dr Khalid Mustafa, Vice Principal, Medical College, BUMDC, Dr Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi, Vice Principal, Dental College, BUMDC, Dr Aziz Ahmed, Vice Principal, DPT Section, BUMDC and all Heads Of Departments (HODs) attended the event.
Students expressed their patriotism in the form of speeches. In the end, the Chief Guest addressed the audience about the importance of freedom and the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
