CMH team visits SKMCH paediatric ward

LAHORE: Patient Welfare Society from the Institute of Dentistry, CMH Lahore Medical College, recently organised a visit to the paediatric ward at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) to promote dental health among children.

Led by Staff President Prof Dr Arham Chohan, the CMH team comprising house officers and dental students aimed to spread smiles while raising awareness about dental hygiene among the young patients.

The team conducted engaging and educational activities for the children, including interactive demonstrations, on the basics of proper brushing and flossing, highlighting the significance of maintaining strong teeth and healthy gums.

The children enthusiastically participated, learning valuable dental care tips in a fun and engaging way.

Each child was given a goody bag containing dental care essentials, toys, and educational materials.

This initiative showcases the power of collective efforts in improving community health. Whether through volunteerism, donations, or awareness campaigns, such programmes are vital for promoting better oral health for a brighter future for underprivileged children.
