BUMDC Bids Farewell to Vice Admiral (Retd) Tahseen Ullah Khan Hi (M) Director General, BUMDC
KARACHI - A farewell dinner was recently arranged at Defence Club Karachi to recognize the services of Vice Admiral Tahseen Ullah Khan HI (M), honorable Director General BUMDC. Vice Admiral (Retired) Tanveer Faiz HI (M), honorable Rector Bahria University graced the occasion with his presence. The ceremony was attended by Commodore Muhammad Hisham SI(M) Registrar Bahria University Karachi Campus, Professor Dr. Zainab Fotowwat Zadeh, Dean IPP, Dr. Farooq-E-Azam Cheema ,Dean Management Sciences, Cdr Hamid Ullah Arif (Retired) Director Health Sciences Surg. Prof. Dr. Asad Ullah Khan Dean Health Sciences and Principal Medical College, Prof. Dr. Wahab Kadri Principal Dental College, Dr. Ambreen Usmani, Vice Principal Medical College, Dr. Kulsoom Rizvi Vice Principal Dental College and Head of the Department of Community Dentistry, Dr. Khalid Aziz Vice Principal DPT, all senior faculty members and administration staff.
Dr. Kulsoom Rizvi Vice Principal Dental College and Head of the Department of Community Dentistry hosted the ceremony. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran. Then, Prof. Dr. Asad Ullah Khan, Dean Health Sciences and Principal Medical College expressed his gratitude for the untiring efforts of Vice Admiral Tahseen Ullah Khan, Director General BUMDC for the progress and success of BUMDC. A video was played to pay tribute and appreciate the Director General’s efforts for BUMDC for the last three years (28th October 2014 to 31st December 2017). Due to his humble, yet disciplined nature; he was liked by his colleagues and students alike. All these years he had been a great mentor, encouragement and inspiration for everyone in the university.
Vice Admiral (Retired) Tanveer Faiz HI (M) honorable Rector Bahria University, presented a memento to Vice Admiral (R) Tahseen Ullah Khan HI (M)Director General BUMDC. The honorable Director General was then invited to share his own feelings about his stretch at BUMDC and his retirement. He expressed his warm gratitude for everyone’s presence and wished them a great future.
The ceremony ended with a cake cutting ceremony led by Vice Admiral (R) Tahseen Ullah Khan HI (M), Director General BUMDC and dinner. The night ended with the creation of endless memories and the acknowledgement of a gap that might never be filled in the absence of such a visionary leader.
