KARACHI: Bahria University Karachi hosted a fundraiser titled ‘Bake Sale and Cultural Night’, showcasing students’ baking skills, with a traditional touch.
The event drew notable guests such as Vice Admiral Akhtar Mukhtar, DG BUHSC; Maj Gen (R) Shehla M. Baqai, Dean BUHSC; and Dr. Kashif Naqvi, Principal BUDC, alongside other faculty members who lent their support to the students.
The first half of the event featured a bake sale, where students showcased a variety of delicious treats. From rich brownies to refreshing sodas, the stalls offered a tempting array of snacks.
The homemade delicacies not only made the event a fundraising success but also celebrated local culinary talent, adding a traditional touch.
In the second half, the focus shifted to a lively cultural programme organised by the university’s Events Club and Music Club. The performances exceeded expectations, with a vibrant display of Pakistani culture through captivating music, energetic dance routines, and humorous skits.
The students’ traditional attire added to the visual appeal, making the night a true feast for the senses.
The evening culminated with a spellbinding Qawwali performance, which left the audience enthralled by its melodic charm.
