CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION IN MARGALLA

Ist Hands on workshop on dental implants was carried out on 31st march by Col Dr A Razzaq Malik Maxillofacial surgeon in Margalla Institute of health sciences Rawalpindi. Dr Abdul Qadir Chairman inaugurated the session and welcomed the doctors who participated and specially came from far flong areas. After lectures on case selection, indications , contraindications, ridge maping and surgical steps of implant placement ,the participants very given the opportunity to actually place implants on models and goat heads to know the feel of drilling and osteotomy preperation. The senior and junior doctors appreciated the well organized event.
The participants along with gaining knowledge, earned 2 CDE points.
The next workshop is planned by Dr A Razzaq Malik after two months
