KARACHI: ITIKarachiStudyClub directors Dr Ali Sadiq and Dr Fahad Umer, recently organised a workshop titled ‘Advancements in Surgical Dentistry: Mastering Implants’ aimed at improving surgical proficiency of dental professional of Karachi, facilitated by Dr Muhammad Haseeb.
The event featured a series of lectures and hands-on experiences to empower the participants to refine their skills and expand their expertise.
Dr Haseeb, an expert in the field, delivered lectures on hard and soft tissue grafting, along with an in-depth exploration of potential complications that practitioners may encounter.
A highlight of the event was the immersive hands-on session, allowing attendees to put theoretical knowledge into practice using goat heads as practical models to have a realistic simulation of surgical procedures, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. Under the expert guidance of Dr Haseeb, the participants gained confidence and honed their techniques.
