Under the Aegis of Pakistan Academy of Implant Dentistry
LAHORE – Pakistan Academy of Implant Dentistry & Facial Aesthetics continues making history with accomplishing yet another milestone by organizing the first ever internationally renowned Fellowship Diploma in Facial Aesthetics program in Pakistan, conducted by American Aesthetics Association (AAA) USA. The event was held at the close of 2017 at the state-of-the-art MQI Institute, Lahore.
The remarkable feature of this unique course was that it was structured so that the multidisciplinary specialties got together under the unique platform of PAID; a significant number of dentists, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, gynecologists and physicians attended this distinctive event.

Dr. Ayman El Attar - president of American Aesthetics Association (AAA) himself visited Pakistan along with the other international faculty, to teach & train our doctors including dentists, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, gynecologists & general physicians.
Who could have thought that such an esteemed, high level, celebrated program which was only accessible to USA, Europe and Gulf, would now come to our own country, Pakistan and that too for almost half the fee.

The 3-day program included all the various present-day aesthetic procedures that are aimed at improving facial aesthetics using non-invasive to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.

Botox to treat dynamic wrinkles, migraine, gummy smile, bruxism, hyperhidrosis etc
Dermal Fillers to rejuvenate lips, cheeks, under eye hollows, facial lines, wrinkles etc.
- Biorejuvenation using Platelet rich plasma (PRP),APAG Concentrated Growth factors (CGF) etc
- Microneedling techniques involving various collagen induction treatments using hyaluronic acid/ platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to treat fine lines, acne scars, wrinkles, skin laxity,diminished texture, tone and color, and even stretch marks, creating a fresher appearance and glow to the skin.
- Chemical peeling
- Laser Skin Resurfacing, Lip & Gum depigmentation etc
Participants availed a tremendous opportunity and benefited most from the hands on sessions under the direct supervision and pragmatic guidance of the mentors.
Dr. Mahmood Qureshi, the implant legend and a pride of Pakistan’s Dental community, after having integrated implants in the skeleton of Dentistry in Pakistan, did not stop but motivated a step ahead and urged doctors to equip themselves with the modern knowledge of Facial Aesthetics & Rejuvenations by participating in advanced educational courses. Dr. Humayun Mohmand, a renowned Cosmetic, Plastic and Hair Restorative Surgeon from Islamabad, delivered his lectures on managing fillers and how to avoid their complications.
Dr. Armeela Javeed spoke on PRP techniques to treat alopecia and shared a number of cases in which she discussed the BEFORE and AFTER of patients undergoing treatments for baldness.
Prof. Saeed Malik, the first Pakistani FDS RCS in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Royal college of London, who was the worthy guest of honor lauded the efforts of Pakistan Academy of Implant Dentistry & Facial Aesthetics for providing a solid platform which has led our doctors to this novel opportunity of learning and mastering themselves with the most advanced aesthetic procedures and acquiring this International Diploma by American Aesthetic Association.
AAA program is spread over three modules; part 2 will be conducted in March 23-25, 2018 at MQI, highlighting the complete facial anatomy on cadaver (video) with/vs. live patient injections, Hands-on Master classes on Advanced Botox & Dermal Fillers, Mesotherapy, Thread Lifting, Lasers & Non Invasive Body Contouring etc. This novel program will be conducted by the renowned AAA (USA) board faculty Dr. Ayman El Attar, Dr. Jamila Atannaz (Plastic Surgeon from USA), Dr. Islam Kassem, Dr. Mahmood Qureshi, Dr. Humayun Mohmand & others.
