An undergraduate research workshop was, recently, organized by the Department of Community & Preventive Dentistry for 2nd year BDS students at SIOHS. The objective of the workshop was to explore student perception, opinion, and attitude towards introducing health research into undergraduate curricula.
An informative lecture was delivered by Prof. Nazeer Khan, Professor of Biostatistics & Director of Research, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi. The lecture was aimed to educate the students about the guidelines regarding the protocol of research; it was followed by a healthy discussion and doubt cleaning session on the initiative for undergraduate research. Dean Prof. Kefi Iqbal also attended the program.
