GAWADAR- As part of the community outreach programme and Medical service initiative, Liaquat College of Medicine &Dentistry and Darul Sehat Hospital, in cooperation with Pakistan Coast Guard conducted, Free Medical Camps in (UTHAL) Balochistan on and in (CHOHAT JAMALI) Sindh, where the Medical Team treated one thousand and four hundred patients.
This is the 3rd Free Medical Camp, conducted in connection with Pakistan Day (23rd March) in GAWADAR and in PASNI. Medical Team consisted of Doctors from Medicine, Paeds, Obs & Gyne, Surgery Departments and Paramedics.
During this Camp they treated around one thousand and six hundred patients mostly children and females, common diseases were, Abdominal pain, Diabetes, Muscle & Joint pain Urinary tract infection, Hypertension, and Anemia in Female patients, Children also presented acute Abdominal pain and were Anemic, where in Men most common complaints were Diabetes, Hypertension, and Scabies.
The Team also visited Rural Health Center PASNI and found lack of basic health facilities, even Emergency department did not have life saving drugs.
