KARACHI: Bahria University Dental College (BUDC) recently arranged a picnic to encourage extracurricular activities among students and faculty members.
Extracurricular activities are a source of revitalising the body and mind. In this regard, the students of BDS 3rd Year, in cooperation with faculty members, organised a picnic at Nathiagali Beach.
The students also invited faculty members. They included Prof. Dr Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi (Vice Principal & HOD Community & Preventive Dentistry), Prof Dr Syed Ahmed Omer (HOD Dental Materials), Dr Arsalan Khalid (HOD Oral Medicine), Dr Akbar Abbas (AP Dental Education) Dr Mansoor Akhter Dar, Dr Mohsin Haider and Dr Fatima Hasan (Senior Lecturers), Dr Kulsoom Zair (Lecturer) and Dr Abeera (Alumni).
The students and faculty enjoyed breakfast, games, lunch, and photography at the shore.
Dr Arsalan, Dr Mansoor and Dr Mohsin among faculty and Esha, Hassan, Ahmed Hasan and Shifa among students organised the event. They acknowledged the efforts of Prof Dr Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi for her continuous support and guidance throughout the process.
