ISLAMABAD: The Community Dentistry Department of Rawal Dental College (RDC), Rawal Institute of Health Sciences (RIHS), celebrated World Oral Health Day (WOHD) with an inter-collegiate poster and quiz competition for the students of 2nd year BDS at the PIES Campus, RDC, Islamabad.
All the dental colleges under the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University were invited to participate in the event. The Inter-Collegiate Poster Competition included Islamabad Medical and Dental College (IMDC), HBS Medical and Dental College and PIMS School of Dentistry and Rawal Dental College. The students from IMDC won the first position in the poster competition, and the posters of RIHS won both 2nd and 3rd positions.
The Inter-Collegiate Quiz Competition was conducted with two students from each of the four colleges on SOCRATIVE. The first quiz resulted in a tie between RDC and IMDC. IMDC won the second quiz. After the prize distribution, all the judges, guests and winning students gathered for the picture and bake sale.
