Lahore – The Orthodontic Department at the College of Dentistry, Lahore Medical and Dental College (LMDC) had the unique privilege to host a workshop on FIGS Technique to Treat Malocclusion of Teeth as part of the 5th International Annual Orthodontic conference of the Pakistan Association of Orthodontists. The workshop was conducted by the legendary and internationally acclaimed orthodontist Prof Ram S Nanda, Professor Emeritus at University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine Roseman ...University of Health Sciences Henderson, NV, USA.
The event turned out to be a very well-organized and well-conducted affair with a diverse audience ranging from senior consultants to residents thoroughly enjoying this rare opportunity to be in such illustrious company. This could only have been possible due to visionary leadership and guidance of Prof Dr. Aqib Sohail, Principal & Dean College of Dentistry, LMDC. He was instrumental in bringing the honour of hosting this prestigious event to LMDC. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the new direction and vision for College of Dentistry and stressed the need for regular and continuous CDE activities. Prof Asma Shafique, Head of Orthodontic Department, delivered a vote of thanks before the concluding ceremony. Dr. Junaid Israr, Associate Professor Orthodontics was the chief organizer for the event.
