HYDERABAD - Faculty of Dentistry & Allied Sciences of the Isra University, in its urge and efforts to seek excellence in dental education and continued professional development for dental students and professionals, organized a full-day symposium recently at Asadullah Kazi auditorium. The symposium was well attended by over 300 participants comprising dental students from the dental college and Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences and the local dental practitioners. Eminent speakers from the universities and colleges of Karachi and LUMHS from the profession gave state-of-the-art lectures and touched on subjects / topics of current dental issues, practices and management of dental problems, in the light of the current innovations and techniques. Academic sessions were followed by a vote of thanks by Prof Rafique Ahmed Memon, the Dean, Faculty of Dentistry & Allied Science, and the distribution of shields to the presenters by the Vice Chancellor, Dr Ghulam Qadir Kazi.-PR
