DN Report Karachi: The Chief Election commissioner recently announced the revised schedule for holding PDA-Karachi Elections. PDA Karachi Elections will be held on 17th April 2016, under new constitution for the seats of President/President Elect, Vice President & General Secretary (with 10 years of good standing in Karachi), Joint Secretary and 4 members of executive council. Rules and regulations indicate that contestant must be a member of PMDC as well as PDA (Karachi) with membership card and NIC card. Members who are contesting must submit audit report if they had taken any funding from PDA CC. According to Election schedule last date of nomination paper is 31st March 2016, last date of filing objections & scrutiny of nomination paper is 4th April 2016, filing of appeals is 6th April 2016, decision of appeals is 8th April 2016, withdrawal of panel(s) is 10th April 2016, and final list of contesting panels is 12th April 2016.
