KARACHI: Fatma Jinnah Dental College participated in the 19th annual meeting of the Global Scientific Dental Alliance (GSDA), held in Dubai in February 2022.
The three-day conference and exhibition, which brought together oral health practitioners and producers from all over the world, showcased the latest innovative technology and allowed industry companies to form long-term partnerships and joint investments to meet the needs of local, regional, and international markets.
The event attracted 66,000 participants from 155 countries and showcased 4,800 state-of-the-art products.
Prof. Dr Saqib Rashid, Head of Operative Dentistry Department, FJDC, attended the initial meeting virtually. He represented the college and extended prospective research collaborations from FJDC’s platform. He highlighted the role of FJDC as an initial and one of the oldest member organisations of GSDA.
Dr Abdul Salam Ali Madani, Executive Chairman of AEEDC Dubai and the GSDA, appreciated the role of FJDC in scientific, medical and educational aspects. He highlighted that FJDC is a regular and active member of GSDA.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with the possibility of holding partnerships in the future.
