KARACHI - Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that 1,200 doctors would be promoted in next grade shortly.
He gave this assurance while presiding over a meeting of the provincial health department’s officials at his office.
Unfolding details of the government’s promotion policy, Mr Dahar said that 800 doctors would be promoted from grade 17 to 18, while 400 doctors would be promoted from grade 18 to 19.
In this regard, the minister exhorted the concerned officials to expedite the process of doctors’ promotion ensuring that no deserving doctor was deprived of his or her due right of being promoted into the next cadre.
Reiterating the government’s resolve of honouring its commitments in letter and spirit, the minister hoped that doctors would leave no stone unturned in serving the ailing community by performing their duties honestly and diligently.
