ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has recently launched an online facility of degree equivalence for university graduates.
As per a statement issued by HEC, the HEC has launched an online portal for equivalence of degrees awarded by Pakistani universities and degree awarding institutions to facilitate graduates.
The applicants will no longer be needed to visit HEC offices or send their documents to HEC for equivalence of their qualifications.
The applicants can apply for equivalence at the comfort of their home by creating an online profile at eservices.hec.gov.pk and uploading required HEC attested educational documents from Bachelor`s onwards along with paid fee challan. The applications will be processed through an online system and issued system-generated equivalence letters through email.
Speaking to the local newspaper, an officer of HEC said through this system, and students could get the online equivalence of their degrees in four days if they uploaded all required documents.
