ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Cleft Lip and Palate Association (ICLAPA) has affirmed its commitment to organizing free treatment, including surgery, for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate, without any charge.
According to a press release, patients receive treatment from a team of physicians and surgeons at hospitals in the twin cities. Patients are formally registered before undergoing treatment and surgery.
Recently, a medical team led by Dr. Azhar Sheikh and Dr. Ayesha Aslam conducted thorough examinations of many cleft lip and palate patients at a free medical camp held at the residence of ICLAPA's President, Mrs. Farhat Akhtar Rehman.
Since 2004, the Association has diligently worked to provide free medical facilities to underprivileged families, with the generous support of philanthropists.
ICLAPA operates as a volunteer-based organization, relying on donors to bring hope and happiness into the lives of those facing financial hardships in treatment for their children.
