LAHORE: To recognize and appreciate the remarkable achievements of leading figures in the healthcare sector, the Pakistan Association of Private Medical and Dental Institutions (PAMI) has recently hosted the Healthcare Excellence Awards 2024.
Distinguished professionals from the healthcare industry attended the event, celebrating the outstanding contributions of individuals who have spearheaded advancements in medical science, championed effective public health interventions, and raised patient care standards.
The ceremony served as a platform to honor these visionary leaders, acknowledging their dedication and profound impact on society with heartfelt tributes.
The event also featured a literary gathering, where poet Mr Wasi Shah mesmerized the audience with his poetry.
Stressing the need for improved healthcare infrastructure, Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman highlighted the importance of adequate doctor-to-patient ratios in hospitals.
The awards also highlighted the role and effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance community well-being, besides paying homage to the tireless commitment and extraordinary accomplishments of healthcare heroes.
