KARACHI: The Department of Orthodontics at Bahria University Dental College (BUDC) recently conducted a successful case presentation session for final-year BDS students (Group B) as part of their end-of-rotation assessment.
Each student was assigned an individual case to present before a panel comprising Dr. Arsalan Khalid, Assistant Professor and Head of Oral Medicine, Dr. Omair, Senior Registrar in Orthodontics, and Dr. Maliha Arshad, Registrar in Orthodontics.
The presentations covered key aspects such as patient history, clinical examination, diagnosis, problem identification, and treatment planning.
During the session, students were evaluated on their presentation skills and diagnostic knowledge of orthodontic cases.
A student, Mahnoor Fatima, was awarded the title of Best Presentation, with Durrosham Ayesha and Tooba Eiman recognized as runners-up. The session was designed to enhance students' communication skills and their ability to apply subject knowledge to clinical problem-solving.
Certificates were presented to the students by Dr. Arsalan Khalid, marking the successful completion of the session.
