GUJRANWALA: In a commendable joint effort, the Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Gujranwala, in collaboration with a team of dental professionals, recently conducted a dental camp at Central Jail Gujranwala to improve oral health of inmates.
Under the supervision of Dr Riazwan Asghar, the dental camp provided comprehensive examinations and treatments to a total of 133 prisoners. The team of dental experts, including Dr Taimoor, Dr Arbaz Cheema, Dr Sana Saeed, and Dr Laraib Dar, delivered much-needed dental care to the inmates.
The range of services offered during the camp included 27 fillings, 10 units of partial dentures, 1 full denture, and 7 extractions. These essential treatments not only relieved dental discomfort but also significantly improved the overall oral health and well-being of the inmates.
This initiative underscored the commitment of the PDA Welfare Complex to its mission of promoting oral health and providing dental care to underserved communities, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to quality dental care.
PAD President Dr Mahmood Shah expressed gratitude to the dedicated team of dental professionals who volunteered their time and expertise for this noble cause, leaving a positive impact on the lives of the inmates, and showing PDA's commitment to community service and healthcare.
