TEXILA: HITEC-IMS Dental College and Asia Pacific Dental Students Association (APDSA) Pakistan arranged “Smiles for Everyone Workshop” on Direct Composite Buildup in Aesthetic Zones.
The workshop was organised by Dr Aneeqa Tahir, House Officer, Maarij Saeed, Final year BDS and her team, attended by HITEC IMS Dental College and Islamic International Dental College students. At the workshop, Prof Dr Beenish Qureshi, HOD Operative dentistry, gave a presentation, while Dr Sharaz Ahmed gave a demonstration on phantom heads which was followed by hands-on session by the participants.
It was facilitated by Dr Amna Riaz and Dr Hamza Ulfat from Operative Dentistry department.
The workshop’s main objective was to enhance the knowledge of cuspal buildup and to enable the students to prepare it.
It ended with the remarks from the college principal and distribution of shields among the facilitators. The participants were given certificates.
