Bhitai College organizes workshops for students

The level-1 was held for BDS 1st year students and encompassed knowledge about trauma management and specific injuries. The trauma management protocol was according to ATLS guidelines and specific incidents.

On day 2, the students were trained for acute management in incidences of cardiac arrest, choking, burns, fractures etc. The protocol was for pre-ambulatory care and aims to help the students utilize the narrow time window available if such a situation may arise.

There was a simultaneous one day workshop conducted for DPT students and lecturers. They were also taught basic essential skills. Similar pattern was followed for a workshop for paramedics.
