Larkana- The WOHD and Research Day was celebrated with enthusiasm like every year at Bibi Aseefa Dental College (BADC).
The chief guest of the event was Prof Dr Aneela Atta-ur-Rahman, Worthy Vice Chancellor Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University. The program Coordinator was Dr Abdul Bari Memon and Deputy Coordinator was Dr Waheed Murad Dahri.
17 stalls of table clinic and poster presentations were arranged by the students of BADC to spread awareness among the visitors. More importantly, totally original researches on different areas of oral health were also conducted and presented by students.
Two teams of judges, one for research competition and second for table clinics and posters, were nominated from the faculty members of BADC. The judges visited and assessed all the stops and finally selected the top 3 winners from research and table clinics.
The judges for research analysis were Dr Salim, Dr Qaim and Dr Shahid. Judges for table clinic and poster presentation were Dr Safia, Dr Shumaila and Dr Almas.
Almost all Deans, Directors, Chairmen, HODs of SMBBMU, students of MBBS from CMC visited the exhibition area.
In the evening respected Principal BADC Sir Ilyas announced the positions of the 3 winners of research and 3 winners of table clinic and poster presentation.
The worthy Vice Chancellor SMBBMU, Prof Madam Aneela Atta-ur-Rahman appreciated all the participants and announced cash prizes for winners. She also acknowledged the efforts of the organizers of WOHD event.
At the closing, Program Coordinator Dr Memon extended vote of thanks to organizers, from students and Hos to the faculty and staff.
