ISLAMABAD: At least one Covid patient died and 67 more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the country during the last 24 hours.
With the latest death, the nationwide tally of Covid fatalities jumped to 30,655 on Saturday as the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,580,409.
According to the latest figures by the National Institute of Health (NIH),
Pakistan conducted 5,478 tests in the past 24 hours, out of which 67 people tested positive for the disease.
The Covid positivity ratio was recorded at 1.22 percent.
