Larkana: Initiation of MDS at BADC Larkana. Bibi Aseefa Dental College (BADC) under the umbrella of The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University of Larkana has initiated Master's of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS).
Recently three trainees, Dr akhlaq Soomro, Dr Ghazanfar Bhellar and Dr Sapna Rani Bhutto have been inducted in MDS at BADC under the Supervision of Prof Dr Qaimuddin Shaikh. Dr Shaikh is the Chairperson of OMFS Department and is an MDS holder from PIMS at Quaid e Azam University of Islamabad.
The induction of MDS trainees was done purely on merit based on written entry test and interview. MDS is the first ever major clinical training program initiated at BADC Larkana. It is a great opportunity for the dental graduates of Sindh and for the local population of Larkana and its vicinity. BADC is the only college in upper Sindh which also caters to some districts of Baluchistan.
