KARACHI: The Postgraduate Unit of the Prosthodontics Department at the Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) recently held an advanced workshop designed to enhance the crown preparation skills of final-year dental students.
The workshop was led by a distinguished panel of experts, including Prof. Dr. Naseer Ahmed, Dr. Shuja Adil, Dr. Tooba Shabbir, and Dr. Aiman Yaseen.
Dr. Shuja Adil commenced the event with a detailed lecture on the Principles of Crown Preparation, covering the latest techniques and materials in modern dentistry. The session highlighted the importance of precision and the integration of advanced dental technologies, providing students with a solid theoretical foundation.
Following the lecture, Dr. Adil and Dr. Tooba conducted practical demonstrations, allowing students to engage in hands-on practice with dental models under expert supervision, enabling students to apply their newly acquired knowledge and receive immediate feedback to refine their techniques.
The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, fostering a collaborative learning environment and addressing participants' queries.
