By Our Staff Reporter Karachi: Employees of Sindh public sector hospitals continued to flout provincial health department’s order whereby wearing uniform by them while on duty has been made mandatory. Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar while making uniforms mandatory for all staff of public sector hospitals across the province about a month ago had directed the officials of health department to get the decision implemented forthwith. Moreover, medical superintendents of government hospitals were also asked to ensure that employees of their respective hospitals must start wearing uniforms during their duty hours. Provincial Secretary Health Dr Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo, when contacted, said health department had already issued a notification in this regard. He, however, said that initially the decision would be implemented in teaching hospitals and thereafter it would be implemented in secondary and primary level hospitals of the province.
