MIRPUR KHAS: The dental faculty at Muhammad Medical and Dental College (MMDC) recently arranged a visit to Little Folks High School to conduct an oral examination and promote oral health awareness among young students.
The visit was conducted under Dr Qadir -ul- Hassan, Principal Dental College, MMDC, and led by Dr Amir Akbar Shaikh, Associate Professor and Head of Community & Preventive Dentistry Department, MMDC.
Dr Raj Kumar, Administrator, MMDC, Dr Madiha Khalid, Head of Oral Biology Department, MMDC, Dr Rana Ashfaq, Dr Faiz, Dr Tariq, Dr Harshana and Dr Yasir were part of the visiting team. The visiting team comprised MMDC staff, faculty members and 2nd year BDS students.
The dental students gave valuable presentations on toothbrushing techniques and emphasised oral hygiene awareness.
